Welcome to Crafts For Living

Does this sound familiar: You make a special trip to a craft store because you got excited about a super-cool craft project you saw on YouTube. You purchased absolutely EVERYTHING on the supply list for that perfect project (even the optional items because, well, you MUST NEED it)! You walk out of the store SO excited! Once it’s home, you are too tired to start the project, and you, think to yourself, “I’ll be better if I start fresh in the morning. I’ll sit it over here, so I see it first thing!”

The next day, you start to pull everything out of the bag. It all looks SO cool. Everyone is going to want one. You look at it lovingly, then quickly decide that you aren’t feeling creative today, and you will get to it later.

Later, maybe weeks later. It just sits in a bag, staring at you, unopened, and honestly, it’s making you a bit uncomfortable. After weeks of it seemingly mocking you every time you walk past the now-tattered bag, you decide you’ve had enough, and you move it to the “craft” room. You tell yourself, “I will get to it later,” knowing that day probably won’t come, but you don’t want to donate it, because you thought it was cool, and you are SURE you will get around to it, and you spent SO much money on it.

Eventually, it gets moved, time and time again, until it’s stuck at the very back of your “project” closet, not ever really expecting to see the light of day.

Ah, the frustration. Time, money, and energy are all spent, never repaying you with the dividends of a project well done, and the joy of the process is lost in regret and guilt of having yet another unfinished project. We’ve ALL been there.

You don’t know where to find help, and the clerks at the craft store have NO idea what you are trying to do or how to help. It can be SO FRUSTRATING!

I’ve got you! My goal is to guide you through the process of inspiration, design, and use of crafting products that you use to make your craft projects successful and FUN!
